   Company founder Rachel M. Anderson has more than 30 years of communications experience across a wide range of disciplines. She is currently a marketing & PR consultant and publicist, who specializes in helping authors and publishers promote their books to local, national and international audiences. Rachel also has extensive media experience in both the print and broadcast arenas. Before switching to a career in marketing and PR, she worked as a major market television newscast producer and reporter for 15 years. She also has experience working as a print features editor and reporter, and marketing/direct response copywriter.

     In 2017, Rachel and her teenage son, Justin, started up a traditional publishing company called Sigma’s Bookshelf, which exclusively publishes the work of teen authors between the ages of 13 and 19. All services needed to bring books to market are provided free of charge to teen authors whose books are selected for publication.
