The holiday season is a time of year we all look to give gifts with meaning, and if you have young people in your life, one of the best gifts of all is to help the child save for his or her college education. A campaign to promote this concept is well underway for the Minnesota College Savings Plan.
Commercials are airing on TV stations throughout the state, and publicity efforts are ongoing. So far, two articles have been published. RMA Publicity's article, A Holiday Gift that Will Keep on Giving for Years to Come, is in the Nov. 26 issue of the Northfield News. The Lakeshore Weekly newspaper in Wayzata, Minn., did a story of its own in the Nov. 25 edition that is filled with facts and statistics you're sure to find interesting.
More articles and interviews are pending in the weeks ahead. Learn more about the Minnesota Savings Plan at www.mnsaves.org.
The next time you visit a Kowalski’s, Bachman’s, Hoigaard’s, International Market Square, or any home improvement showroom in the Twin Cities, be sure to pick up a copy of Spaces, an upscale magazine published by the Pioneer Press.
RMA Publicity has secured a placement in the Nov/Dec 2014 issue of the magazine for PossibiliTree, a Minneapolis company that manufactures and sells an architect-designed, stylish and eco-conscious alternative to the traditional Christmas tree. The article is on the second to last page of the magazine in a spot where a lot of people are sure to see it. This holiday season, RMA Publicity has also secured stories for PossibiliTree in the Nov/Dec. 2014 issue of Colorado Homes & Lifestyle and on KBJR-TV in Duluth, Minn.
PossibiliTrees are handcrafted in the USA from hardwoods: cherry, walnut, and maple. They are available in several sizes: a 6-foot suspended tree, as well as two-and-three-foot tall tabletop trees.
When you have a PossibiliTree in your home, there is no more having to remember to water the tree, or clean-up after messy pine needles; and perhaps best of all, you will never have to buy a Christmas tree again.
Learn more about the trees, which right now are only available for purchase online, at www.possibilitree.com.
RMA Publicity is pleased to have helped get the word out about the “There Once Was a Barn Holiday Boutique" at Patrick Plautz's farm on Gorman Avenue in Willard, Wisc., on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday.
WQOW-TV in Eau Claire will be running a preview story in its evening newscast on Thanksgiving Day. An article has already been published in the Leader Telegram.
Fifteen local artists are participating in the event that kicks off at 9 a.m. on Black Friday.
Plautz inherited the farm from his mother, and last year renovated it into a shop and studio. His barn ended up being one of the highlights of this year's Clark County Art Crawl, drawing about 600 guests to the family farm.
Patrick Plautz is a wood artist. Learn more about his work at www.patrickjsimagination.com.
