RMA Publicity is a PR agency based in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis - St. Paul, Minnesota that offers marketing, public relations and media relations services that get results to clients who desire personalized service. Our specialty is book marketing and book publicity, but that's not all we have experience successfully promoting. We have also executed successful campaigns for small and medium-sized businesses and nonprofits. Since our founding in 2009, we have secured 2,600 + media placements. We offer professional marketing & PR services specific to your needs and budget. We tell you what you need to know, not what you want to hear.
Company founder Rachel M. Anderson has more than 30 years of communications experience across a wide range of disciplines. She is currently a marketing & PR consultant and publicist, who specializes in helping authors and publishers promote their books to local, national and international audiences. Rachel also has extensive media experience in both the print and broadcast arenas. Before switching to a career in marketing and PR, she worked as a major market television newscast producer and reporter for 15 years. She also has experience working as a print features editor and reporter, and marketing/direct response copywriter.
In 2017, Rachel and her teenage son, Justin, started up a traditional publishing company called Sigma’s Bookshelf, which exclusively publishes the work of teen authors between the ages of 13 and 19. All services needed to bring books to market are provided free of charge to teen authors whose books are selected for publication. Authors are paid royalties for books sold online, in stores and at events. Sigma’s Bookshelf currently has 17 titles on the market with more in the pipeline. Learn more at SigmasBookshelf.com. Sigma’s Bookshelf is a project of Springboard for the Arts, an arts services organization. Tax deductible donations can be made to support the project at www.sigmasbookshelf.com/donate, which links to the company’s GiveMN page.
"I have helped more than 150 authors and publishing companies promote their books, and dozens of corporate and nonprofit clients promote their products and services to local, national and international audiences. I look forward to working with you!"
