With the 100th anniversary of the devastating tornado that destroyed the town of La Plata, Maryland approaching in 2026, Maryland historians Anthony Puzzilla and Steuart Bowling are teaming up to write a book tentatively titled "Where Have the Children Gone? The Deadly La Plata, Maryland Tornado of November 9, 1926." They are hoping to track down any distant friends or relatives of the people affected by the tornado, especially those of the people it killed.
RMA Publicity's marketing & PR campaign has already led them to a few people to include in the book, and we hope their next interview will lead to even more.
