The effort to build a Veterans Memorial in the City of Bloomington, Minnesota, has just received a large corporate sponsorship.
KARE TV aired a story on March 2nd about Luther Automotive Group's $50,000 donation towards the $750,000 price tag. Approximately $146,000 has been raised so far, and the goal is to have all the funds in place by the end of this year so construction can begin in 2024.
“We want to thank the Luther Automotive Group publicly and also believe their collective gift will encourage other businesses to get involved and to show credibility for our organization and this project. This is one of the first large community business gifts we have been given,” said Kate Blessing, Co-Vice President of Bloomington Remembers Veterans, Inc.
