February 28 is Rare Disease Day, a day set aside to raise awareness and generate change for the 300 million people worldwide living with rare disease. Among them is Naples, Florida resident Elizabeth Kempe.

   Kempe has been diagnosed with a myriad of illnesses—which include chronic Epstein-Barr virus, peripheral neuropathy, brain lesions, and fibromyalgia to name a few. She was told the diseases would eventually render her an invalid. Rather than accept that fate, she started doing some extensive research into her illness, and what she learned is now helping others as well.

Elizabeth Kempe will share her story on WAMV-AM in Amherst, Virginia this morning around 11 a.m. ET. She plans to share what symptoms she was suffering from before she was officially diagnosed, how she came to be diagnosed after years of suffering, the system she used to treat the root causes of her own illnesses, and how her system can help others as well.
